The Simple Tasks Campaign – take action!

Earlier this month, the Simple Tasks Campaign launched its efforts to raise awareness about the value of rheumatology services.

It’s come about because about 1 million people in the UK have rheumatology conditions but many key decision makers do not understand the scale and severity of the conditions, and do not have enough information about what rheumatology services can offer patients.

The two-year campaign also aims to highlight – to healthcare professionals and the public – that there is a window of opportunity for preventing pain and disability in autoimmune and inflammatory arthritis (ie a quick diagnosis and treatment is vital to future quality of life).

Campaign material is available on the Simple Tasks website (www.simpletasks.org.uk) and includes a detailed “white paper” about the problem, a manifesto and posters as well as a letter to your local MP.
