Certain elements and minerals improve bone quality, reports evidence review

Experts reviewed data on the impact on osteoporosis of some minerals and trace elements. They analysed laboratory studies and clinical trials and discovered that zinc, magnesium, fluorine and strontium supplements seems to improve bone quality… great news for people with osteoporosis.

The story doesn’t end there, however, as it seems little is best, the team explains:

“The effect of trace elements and minerals on bone health appeared to be dose-dependent with low doses promoting an osteogenic [bone formation] effect, whereas high doses exerted opposite effects.”
