Reporting their findings in Autoimmunity Reviews the experts conclude that “it is recommended that [alongside] medical treatment, nutrition therapy for rheumatoid arthritis should be based on an anti-inflammatory Mediterranean diet supplemented with at least twice a week consumption of oily fish and/or omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid supplements.”
